The Sustainable Airport Manual (SAM) Green Airplane Rating System for Concessions & Tenants is designed to certify the sustainability of concession and tenant activities, including daily operations as well as design and construction of new facilities within the terminals. The following restaurants have achieved the status of “ Leader” in compliance to the Sustainable Airport Manual(SAM) rating system.

Leader: Tenant has gone beyond the minimum expectations of the SAM Prerequisites and demonstrated a commitment to sustainable initiatives.

Tenants are rated on the achievement of credits depending on the appropriate category of the initiative/effort, based on sustainable elements included in the project from the following categories:

CONCESSIONS & TENANTS – DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION

The SAM Green Airplane Rating System for CT – Design & Construction uses a five tier approach to rating a tenant similar to the Design & Construction rating system. “Green Airplane Certification” symbols are used to designate achievement levels.
